Garage Service Door Replacement with Paver Regrade

The garage service door was missing its threshold, and the pavers just outside had heaved up above the slab over the years, so a new door could not be sealed properly until the landing was fixed.
After looking at the door and the paver landing, I walked the homeowner through the options before starting any work. Getting a proper threshold in meant dealing with the pavers first, so I pulled about 30 of them off the landing outside the door, then leveled and regraded the base so it sat flush with the garage slab. With the landing fixed, I installed the new door unit and set new hardware: a satin-nickel deadbolt and lever.
The garage now has a steel 6-panel service door with a decorative window insert and a threshold that seals the way it should. The paver landing outside sits level and flush with the slab, and the old drafty gap at the bottom of the door is gone.
